Single Sign On

  Verify that you can login to your Microsoft account

  Verify that you are able to log into using your current email address and password.

  • I can login to MyApps.
    MyApps is your student portal for accessing various services at ECC. If you change your password, it will change for all services. If you are able to login successfully, no other action is needed. If this is your first time logging in, you will be asked to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your account.
  • I cannot login to MyApps.
  • • I am a new student.
      Your student account will not be created until one business day after you are registered for curriculum courses. Please contact your advisor or ECC Student Services to register for your first semester. This can be done over the phone at (252) 618-6526. In future semesters, you will be able to self-register through Self Service.
    • What is my email address?
      Your email address is your first initial, last name, and first four digits of your date of birth followed by @my.edgecombe.edu
      Example: John Smith born May 18, 1988 = jsmith0518@my.edgecombe.edu
    • What is my password?
      91ӣ����Ƶ does not assign an initial password to student accounts.
      When you sign in for the first time, you will select “Forgot my password” and create your own password. You will receive a verification code at the personal email address you provided on your college application to complete the process.
      If you have already created a password and cannot remember it, use the “Forgot my password” option to reset it.
    • I still can’t login.
      If you have successfully logged in before, try a . If that does not work, please complete a Tech Support Request.

  Resetting your password

  If you are not a new student logging in for the first time, you may reset your password using one of the following methods:

  • or use the “Forgot my password” link at any ECC login screen
  • Go to to change a password that you know

  Developing a strong password

  If you are logging into your account for the first time, need to reset your password, haven’t changed your password in a while, or you have a weak password, use the following tips to develop a strong password.

  • Your password must be at least eight characters.
  • Your password cannot contain any part of your name.
  • Your password should contain a mix of the following:
    • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
    • Lowercase letters (a-z)
    • Numbers (0-9)
    • Special characters (@#$&()=\;:<>? are NOT ALLOWED)
